Hall, Lawrence--our home, I guess. I love Marc's shoes. And I remember that Ampeg amp just rocked and was LOUD AS HELL!
OTWH was kind of a dive, but it was our dive. I remember practicing there
when we lived above Mallott's Hardware. Every time we opened the storage
closet to get our gear out the cockroaches would scurry. Yech!
LISA: Thank God for Marty at Do's Deluxe. We had the coolest haircuts back then.
I remember living on Mass. street but damn I didn't remember that we used to practice at OTWH. Yes I do remember how loud Marc's amp was. I am lucky to still have my hearing!
MARC: That was when I had only one of the
Ampeg VT-22's. If you'll remember, I added a second one. I just wasn't
loud enough with one. Another note about the amps... After our practice
space in Chicago flooded, I stored them for (I can't believe this but
the math is right) twenty years +/-. Recently, I had them completely
refurbished - completely gone through; new tubes; new speakers; new
covers; etc. They came out great! Cost a few bucks but, there's
nothing like the sound of an Ampeg, or two!
